Twitterbot Talk Slides!

Well- it happened. I talked about computers in front of people who know things about computers. Anxious as I was, I hope a few decent thoughts came out. I briefly explained what got me into making twitterbots and how I consider the play of language to be a remarkable facet of the internet. I like twitterbots because I like jokes and I like grammar.

What fascinates me about DH in general and what these sorts of experiments reveal to me:

  1. how so much of computing is predicated on the structure of language
  2. how readers can fluidly reconcile errors and synthesize meaning

I hope you enjoy my slides.
